Harper’s Bazaar and Chanel documentary launches on Arena |

Capitalising on Australian Fashion Week, a special Australian Harper's Bazaar and Chanel collaborative documentary, "Harper's Bazaar presents The Making of the Chanel Special" aired for the first time on Australian TV. Australian Harper's Bazaar joined forces with Chanel to shoot the legendary fashion house's Paris Shanghai pre-fall collection in Shanghai.
The resulting 30-minute documentary, directed by Anthony Lau, covers not only the Shanghai shoot but travels to Paris and Seoul. It features behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot.
Other highlights are interviews with Karl Lagerfeld and Vanessa Paradis, along with Harper's Bazaar Editor Edwina McCann and Chanel General Manager Communications Australia/ NZ Susie Stenmark.
"This was an incredibly exciting project to work on - a real once in a lifetime experience - and the intimate access and beautiful imagery will captivate all fashion lovers," said McCann.
The fashion shoot can be seen in the oriental-themed May issue of Harper's Bazaar that also features Lilly Allen and the launch of Chanel's Coco Rogue lipstick collection.
