Fairfax Media to be Reviewed |

The Fairfax Media board will formally consider a strategic review of its structure and management with calls for a much more aggressive approach to the digital side of its business. It is believed the board will consider options such as paywalls, and combining print and online management.
Investors have criticised a lack of communication by Fairfax management about its internet strategy.
Fairfax has been particularly hurt by the online migration of classical ads.
A Macquarie report even called for Fairfax to dump its print dailies and go fully digital.
