ACP Magazines has ceased publishing kids' magazines Disney Girl and Disney Adventures, with the two titles becoming one magazine as part of a co-publishing agreement with nextmedia. The first issue of Disney Magazine is set to hit newsstands in December. ACP will continue publishing Disney Family Fun, as well as other pre-school titles for Disney under the Disney Princess and Disney Little Library brands.
ACP Magazines managing director Phil Scott said: "ACP and Disney have an enduring relationship going back ten years and encompassing a stable of fun and lifestyle magazines enjoyed by children and families across Australia.
"We are particularly proud that these titles have become favourites with Australian kids while also being educative, informative and trusted by parents. The new arrangements will see ACP focus on the Disney pre-school publications."
Both Disney Girl and Disney Adventures posted a decline in circulation in the June ABC results, with Disney Girl down 13.23% per cent year-on-year to 23,514, and Disney Adventures falling 21.86 per cent year-on-year to 22,307.
