ACP Restructure Aims to Sell Group Ad Deals

ACP Magazines is set to unveil a major restructure of its sales team, with the appointment of a sales director for brands and a sales director for agencies to oversee the national sales teams.

The restructure is the first big project for ACP's newly installed head of sales, Louise Barrett, who took over following the departure of Lynette Phillips last year amid a reshuffling of ACP which saw Phil Scott take up the reigns as managing director.

As reported in AdNews, as part of the restructure, agencies will each have a sales representative acting as a single point of contact who will sell across the entire ACP portfolio.

"Agencies love it - clients hate it," a source said to AdNews, adding that group deals often lose the power of the individual masthead, but they conceded it was much more efficient from a trading point of view.
