At a breakfast launch this morning in front of 100 of the publishing fraternity Gordon and Gotch (GGA) a division of ASX listed PMP Limited launched their new digital distribution strategy. Gordon and Gotch, Australia's oldest distributor of newsstand publications have now extended their offer to include digital distribution for publishers. Gordon and Gotch has partnered with leading e-solutions provider Magazine Cloner to launch technology for digital publishing to the Australian and New Zealand market.
Craig Davison, MD of GGA, when launching this initiative in Sydney today, commented, "The way magazines are distributed and consumed is changing at an accelerated pace and it is important for us to be able to offer digital distribution and e-publishing in addition to our traditional services. With the creation of our new division GGA Digital we can now give our publishing clients a route to market with bespoke Apps and digital additions across multiple platforms"
Gordon and Gotch views this entry into the digital space as an opportunity to expand the geographical reach for the publishers they represent with the first APP live in April 2011.
