mediaIDEAS dataPoint released this week shows the average worldwide traffic for "magazines" from 2004 to the beginning months of 2011. During this period, the search through Google for the term "magazines" fell by more than 75 per cent. Though not statistically representative of the US, or the worldwide, population, Google trends does provide some insight into the interests of internet users. And these users seem to be searching less and less for magazines.
