A general interest men's magazine pitched at the average Aussie bloke has launched with the tagline of Inside the World's Best Garages, Sheds and Mancaves. Manspace Magazine, which is being produced quarterly by business-to-business technical publisher Connection Magazines, has been designed to celebrate what men get up to in their spare time.
In addition to general interest features about hobbies and collections, the magazine will also feature health advice from a author of Blokes Health, Dr Bernie Crimmins.
First issue stories include 'The ultimate underground garage' and home breweries in Darwin.
Editor Jonathan Green said: "The passions and interests that Australian men take part in is something we can all enjoy. The focus of our articles is actually on the person behind the activity, so not only do we get access to quirky stories, but most importantly we get a great story about why men do what they do and what it means to them. What we are trying to achieve is a human connection that is accessible to any reader."
Advertisers such as Blackmores, Bosch and Shannons feature in the first 100-page issue. It sells for $6.95.
