Vogue Australia has been named Magazine of the Year at the Australian Magazine Awards (AMA) created by Yaffa Publishing owners of the AdNews media communications brand. The Australian Magazine Awards were established in 2009 by Yaffa Publishing, publishers of B2B trade titles including AdNews, to recognise magazines that perform at the highest level for publishers and advertisers.
The winners of the 19 awards were announced on Friday morning at Sydney's Doltone House.
In key highlights, Matt Handbury, former owner of Murdoch Magazines, was inducted into the Magazines Hall of Fame.
In the new categories, K-zone won the Magazine Website award and Super Food Ideas took the Magazine App of the year.
ACP's Australian Women's Weekly won the Mass Women's category and The Monthly won the top honour for Business, Finance & Current Affairs.
